Under Armor presents the new UA HOVR Phantom 3, a neutral running shoe that offers improved speed, cushioning and energy return from the runner’s stride compared to previous versions, according to the US multinational in a statement.
In developing the UA HOVR Phantom 3, the UA footwear design team analyzed the demands of the athletic athlete who runs in short bursts and intervals as part of a complete training regimen.

Throughout the research and development, the UA design team worked in unison with hundreds of athletes from different specialties who run as a means to improve their overall performance. Collecting data, it became clear that running is often the secret weapon in their training plan.
In general, athletes who run for training spend a lot of time in the gym, but they are also looking for a unique footwear solution that is still 100 percent suitable for running.
The Phantom 3 has been built to have the qualities that allow you to perform fast sprints and intervals or shorter distance runs with the stability and comfort needed to return to the weight room and the plyos.
THE EVOLUTION OF PHANTOM
The UA HOVR Phantom 3 is the latest evolution of the Phantom franchise since the Phantom 2 launched in July 2020. The UA HOVR Phantom 3 offers HOVR movement, more breathability and an improved fit compared to its predecessor.
Implementation of the latest evolution of HOVR midsole technology now extends the full length of the midsole in the Phantom 3, meaning a plush underfoot feel without compromising propulsion thanks to HOVR midsole technology now from full length. A soft, high-performance, highly textured UA Intelliknit upper enhances breathability with incredible stretch and targeted flexibility.
A new secure heel counter, combined with cushioned yet supportive panels, offers robust support that hugs the foot. Lastly, molded details in the midfoot and lower contour around the ankle enhance the fit and offer stability and ease-of-entry benefits.
