Unai Simón, Eric García, Ansu, Óscar …, Luis Enrique revolution

Luis Enrique has given the list of players who will take to Düsseldorf on September 3 to play against Germany in Spain's first match in the Nations League and receive Ukraine three days later in Valdebebas. The main novelties are Unai Simón, Eric García, Mikel Merino, Adama Traoré, Ferran Torres, Ansu Fati and Óscar, a player on loan from Madrid to Leganés. They fall out of the call, in addition to Iñigo Martínez who was injured in training with Athletic players of the weight of Jordi Alba or Saúl.

This Thursday was the Luis Enrique's first list after a year and a half of absence. The Asturian, who begins his second stage in the National Team after Robert Moreno's parenthesis, has taken advantage of the long break in international football to start a renewal of the national team with the aim of having a block formed to play the postponed Eurocup, which has been scheduled for next summer with permission from the coronavirus.

Spain will focus on Las Rozas on the 31st and will remain in the Ciudad del Fútbol isolated from the rest of the Federation staff to avoid the risk of contagion. He will travel to Germany on a private plane chartered by UEFA and neither the players nor the coach will attend the press in person after the match. There will be no mixed zone for interviews and the appearance of Luis Enrique will be telematic. UEFA is panicking that the coronavirus will spread by moving the 59 teams from Europe across the continent to play the Nations League, but for now it maintains the calendar and the matches of the tournament.
