The Spanish footballer Unai Nuñez will return to play on loan at RC Celta next season, after the Vigo club has executed the option to extend his loan that included the agreement he had in force with the entity of origin, Athletic Club .
“As in the first assignment, the club from Vigo will assume the cost of the central defender’s file. Once the new assignment is formalized, the contract provides for the possibility of a put option for Athletic Club and a purchase option for RC Celta for the season 2024/25 of a minimum of seven million euros, to which certain variables are added,” the Bilbao entity stated on its website on Wednesday.
In addition, Athletic has reserved a percentage of a future transfer that RC Celta makes of the player, trained in Lezama. “At 26 years old, Unai Nuñez played a total of 39 games in the recently completed course,” recalled the entity from Vigo through another press release.
