Umar Sadiq sentences Mirandés in three minutes

Umar Sadiq It’s still sweet and the hard-working Mirandés suffered it in his own flesh, defeated by an Almería that chained its third victory in a row. The Nigerian striker upset the balance of a very even game with a stunning double in just three minutes (from 69′ to 72′) that broke down the resistance of the team from Joseba Etxeberria, which debuted on the bench. With no time left to accomplish the feat, Camello closed the gap in stoppage time by taking advantage of the rejection of a penalty missed by Iñigo Vicente.

The first minutes showed two daring teams looking for the rival goal, although the two clearest opportunities came from the Almeria side, but first Ramazani and then Robertone forgave with everything in their favor to have opened the scoring.

El Mirandés, which offered the premiere of Joseba Etxeberria as the new coach, he gradually took control of the game, with an Almería team that was forced to resort to long balls towards Faithful, decreasing their sense of danger. But neither did Mirandés, despite their greater control of the game, find the necessary lucidity in the last third of the field.

The tie lasted as long as it took Faithful in sharpening the aim. Already in the second half he warned the Nigerian striker first from inside the area, but in the second he had put it inside with a powerful shot from outside.

The celebration of the goal had not finished Faithful when he found another ball in an unbeatable situation. On this occasion he chose to raise it before Raúl Lizoain. In three minutes, Almería had put the match on track with two goals from their top scorer.

Almería even had the opportunity to extend their lead, although Arnau Puigmal’s shot hit the crossbar. Camel he had the best for Mirandés in this final stretch after an individual action by Hassan.
