The UEFA Control, Ethics and Disciplinary Committee has decided to sanction the German club Union Berlin with the partial closure of its stadium in the next Conference League match, on 4 November against Feyenoord, for the racist incidents recorded in the match against the Israeli Maccabi Haifa.
In that game, played on September 30, a group of German Maccabi Haifa fans were subjected to anti-Semitic insults, as admitted by the German club itself, which later apologized for it.
