UCAM Murcia wins 0-2 against Sevilla At. and takes the three points

UCAM Murcia played and won 0-2 as a visitor in last Sunday’s game at the Jesús Navas Stadium. The Seville At. wanted to improve their situation in the tournament after losing the last game against FC Andorra by a score of 2-0, accumulating a total of three straight defeats in the competition. Regarding the visiting team, UCAM Murcia lost by a result of 2-3 in the previous match against San Fernando. With this good result, the Murcian team is eighteenth, while Sevilla is sixteenth at the end of the game.

The first half of the confrontation began positively for the Murcian team, which opened the match with a goal from Xemi, thus ending the first period with the score of 0-1.

In the second half, luck came to UCAM Murcia, who increased their goalscoring account with respect to their opponent with a goal from Josema in the 56th minute, concluding the match with the result 0-2.

In the chapter on changes, the Sevilla players who entered the game were Juanmi, Musa Drammeh, Adri Peral, Santisteban and Peñarroya replacing Carmona, Juanlu, Iván Romero, Nacho Quintana and Zarzana, while the changes from UCAM Murcia were Manu Garrido, Caro, Chacartegui and Alberto Fernández, who came in to replace Moyita, Fullana, Rubén Mesa and Moi.

The referee sanctioned five players with a yellow card, one for the locals and four for the visitors. On the part of the locals, the card went to Kike Salas and on the part of the visitors to Armando, Manu Garrido, Fullana and Tekio.

With this victory away from home, Salva Ballesta’s team occupied eighteenth place with 27 points, while the team led by Alejandro Acejo stood in sixteenth place with 31 points, occupying a relegation place to the Second Division, at the end of the match.

On the following day, the two teams will play at home. The Sevillian team will face Cornellà and, for its part, UCAM Murcia will face Villarreal B.
