MADRID, 20 Ene. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish guard Txemi Urtasun will strengthen the Real Betis Basketball squad over the next month, given the various casualties suffered by the Andalusian team, where the Navarrese will experience a third stage.
“Real Betis Basketball and Txemi Urtasun have reached an agreement for the shooting guard to temporarily reinforce the Betis team. Urtasun (04/30/84, Navarra) will thus begin his third stage in Seville after his first experience playing with Cajasol ( 2010-12) and a second with Real Betis Energía Plus (2017-18)”, says the club’s official statement.
Betis marks salvation in the Endesa League after 16 games but tied at three wins with the penultimate place. The Navarrese has been in the dynamics of the Betic club since the beginning of the course and now he will jump onto the track to help Luis Casimiro’s team, a team heavily punished by injuries.
Txemi Urtasun has more than 300 games in the Endesa League, having played among other teams in Estudiantes, Zaragoza, Unicaja and Obradoiro. Last year he was part of the Girona Basket, a team that would end up being promoted to the Endesa League.
