Two drums, two worlds

After traveling a tortuous path in the league, the real Madrid has been planted in the round of 16 of the Champions as first of his group. Apart from the whites, who hold 13 titles, there is the Bayern (6 times champion), Liverpool (6), Juventus (2), Dortmund (1) and Chelsea (1). And the two clubs on the continent that, perhaps, most want to release their record: Manchester City (whose ceiling is the 2016 semifinals, in which he was eliminated by Madrid) and PSG (finalist for the first time last season). A septet of fearsome teams. Not only because of its history, but also its performance in recent years, as reflected in the UEFA ranking. The worst classified is Chelsea, in 13th position.

At hype 2 only three of the eight classified teams have a better position than the Londoners, but they are just the three Spanish (Barça –2º–, Athletic –5º– and Seville –8º–), whom Madrid cannot face. Next in the ranking is Port, 14th, and the other four teams are outside the top-20 of the UEFA rankings: Leipzig (21º), Atalanta (26º), Lazio (31st) and the Borussia Mönchengaldbach (46th), who cannot cross the Madridistas either.
