Triumphal walk of PSG in Montpellier

Perhaps late, but PSG does not want to end the season without having made peace with its fans. To achieve forgiveness, he has no choice but to be professional, as it was in Montpellier. A placid commitment, marked by the exhibition of Messi. The Argentine, reconciled with the goal, scored two and smiled with relief, aware that in France he has lost some of his instinct. Di María and Mbappé completed a 0-4 without much history.

The first time was a ride. Messi started the clash motivated and after a good combination with Mbappé he caressed a soft ball, adjusted to the net: 0-1. The 0-2 was not long in coming, again colluding with the Frenchman, who gave him a pass with the outside to leave him alone in front of the goalkeeper. Leo’s pulse did not tremble. He dodged around Bertaud and finished with his left foot to bring PSG closer to a comfortable win, without much resistance from Montpellier.

With nothing at stake, Dall’Oglio’s squad didn’t try too hard to appear excited about the game. The 0-3, by Di María, confirmed that extreme. The Argentine, with luck, found the door after a shot bounced off a central defender. With the victory on track, the team was involved in helping Mbappé to increase his scoring account. After a first shot to the woodwork, the Frenchman joined the party by scoring a penalty to make it 0-4 in the second half.

It was a good time for Pochettino to introduce Michut and Xavi Simons, the two most promising boys of a PSG that wants to tie the future of both as it is. PSG, and also Montpellier, had a long night. Only Mbappé persistently searched for another goal, eager to get closer to Cavani’s numbers. Tonight PSG travels to Doha to meet their advertising commitments. Donnarumma, Marquinhos, Nundo Mendes and Kylian, nominated for the UNFP awards, will do so on Monday.
