Training in 'Pintus mode'

Third day of work and fourth training session for Real Madrid players who have already started preseason work. Ancelotti's pupils, who have remained concentrated in the residence of the first team, jumped onto the Valdebebas lawn at 10:00 in the morning.

The session lasted for two hours. It began with exercises with the ball and tactics and in the final part the work of Antonio Pintus took center stage. The players underwent a demanding physical load with timed races in which the intensity and distance increased. In line with yesterday, Carvajal and Lucas Vázquez only did part of the training with the group while Mendy worked in the gym.

It is the only session that the team will hold on Wednesday. Yesterday, Tuesday, they did work in a double session, after Monday's training was in the evening after the morning reserved for the pertinent medical examinations. The squad will return to training tomorrow Thursday in an early morning session that will begin at 08:30 in the morning, at which time a temperature of 17ºC is expected in the capital.

In these first days of work of the white preseason, Carlo Ancelotti has at his command 14 players from the first team: Lunin, Altube, Carvajal, Odriozola, Nacho, Marcelo, Mendy, Isco, Odegaard, Lucas Vázquez, Brahim, Rodrygo, Jovic and Mariano. The Italian coach has completed the working group with ten homegrown players (Toni Fuidias, Mario Gila, Víctor Chust, Miguel Gutiérrez, Antonio Blanco, Morante, Marvin, Arribas, Latasa and the youth David González). Those will be Ancelotti's men at least in the first two weeks of the preseason, until as of July 19, the 16 Madrid internationals participating in the Eurocup, the America's Cup and the Olympic Games begin to join.. A gradual return that will last another two weeks until the Brazilians arrive in August and the four that will be in Tokyo 2020 (Vallejo, Ceballos, Asensio and Kubo).

Madrid, which has not yet scheduled a pre-season friendly, found out yesterday Tuesday the date of its league premiere. It will be on Saturday August 14 at 10:00 p.m. against Alavés in Mendizorroza.
