“As we advanced last week, since the candidacy of Gaizka Toquero for the presidency of AFE, yesterday we presented our challenges to the electoral process. In them, we immediately request the Electoral Commission to nullify the process due to the serious irregularities detected and demonstrated since our candidacy.

All the facts and evidence presented by this candidacy have also been included in the tally sheet of the Electoral Table. It should be remembered that it is made up of AFE affiliates chosen by lottery and that they are independent from both candidates.

Before the end of the count, we filed a complaint with the Specialized and Violent Crime Unit of the National Police (UDEV) for fraud when detecting, among other things, votes of people who are not even in the census, manipulations of the electoral roll, Duplicate votes and flagrant breaks in the notarial chain of custody of the vote by mail.

Right now an investigation is open by the National Police and we hope that, given the seriousness and clarity of the events, the Electoral Commission will act responsibly and declare the electoral process null and void.
