Toñi Moreno is close to María del Monte but destroys Antonio Tejado’s defense

The singer’s nephew testified voluntarily before the judge this Friday after a month in preventive detention. The Sevillian arrived at the courthouse shackled and with his head held high, although once inside the courtroom he collapsed and, through tears, declared himself innocent. The presenter, united with the singer for more than two decades of intense friendship, has discussed the news on the program Nowadaysfrom Canal Sur. “He is doing sports in prison, he is visibly thinner. But I see him looking good”, he said in a neutral tone. Once the commentators gave their opinion on Tejado’s statements, Toñi Moreno commented with intention: “I do ask my mother, who calls her every day, where she is or what time she gets home, but I don’t ask a cousin with whom I hardly speak”.

The Andalusian woman refers to all the calls that Antonio Tejado made to his aunt and Immaculate Casal days before the robbery, asking both of them every detail of their movements: when they were going to be home, when they were sleeping outside… Tejado has justified so much interest to the judge in the famous dog: his aunt had asked him to get a puppy and The dog had already been at his nephew’s house for two months: “He had to leave now, I wanted to take him to my aunt,” he said before the judge.

A voluntary declaration

The 36-year-old has defended his innocence and has assured that he has nothing to do with the criminal gang that carried out the robbery. After approximately an hour and a half of testimony, he left the room in tears.

Chayo Mohedano’s ex has mentioned the Sevillanas singer during the appearance. “I am convinced that my aunt knows that I had nothing to do with the robbery”has pointed out, as they have commented in We’ll see. Of course, he did not want to answer the questions from his aunt’s lawyer, limiting himself to answering only those asked by the investigating judge of the case, the prosecutor and his own defense.
