Toni Bou wins his 30th world title

MADRID, 21 Nov. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The Spanish rider Toni Bou (Repsol Honda) stretched his record of world champion titles to 30º, after winning his fifteenth X-Trial World title this Sunday at the Palau Sant Jordi in Barcelona.

In an atypical ‘indoor’ event with only two tests, Bou won the X-Trial in Barcelona as he had also done in Andorra two weeks ago. At home, Bou was the best for the fifteenth time in a row, adding a total of 30 world titles between the TrialGP and X-Trial specialties.

With 12 points accumulated in the final 6 zones of the event, the Repsol Honda rider achieved his 127th victory and his 175th podium in the World Championship. Bou, who won his 15th TrialGP title in Portugal two months ago, continues to expand his legend.
