MADRID, 23 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Spanish ice skater Tomàs Guarino was left with honey on his lips this Thursday by finishing 27th in the short program of the 2023 World Cup that is being held in Saitama (Japan), a result that left him out of the final by three places.
Guarino, 23, completed his short program with a score of 67.60 points, less than three points behind the ‘Top 24’ that qualified for the final on Saturday at the Saitama Super Arena.
The Young Goose Academy skater dropped his pace and energy, even though he started with a fall on the 3 Axel. The Spaniard knew how to keep calm and redirect his short program by adding a good 3 Lutz and the combination of 3 Flip + 3 Toe. In pirouettes, he got Level 4 and in step sequences, Level 3.
