Davis Cup This Friday faces its second day of competition at the venues in Madrid, Innsbruck and Turin and does so with the entry into the fray of two of the great contenders for the title: Spain, current champion of the tournament after winning it in 2019 (in 2020 it was not played for the coronavirus pandemic), and the Serbia of a Novak Djokovic who has already confessed that this is one of the most important weeks of the year for him. Also noteworthy is the debut of Jannik Sinner’s Italy, who will have to act as leader after Matteo Berrettini’s resignation.
