Today's matches, June 12, in LaLiga and in Segunda: schedules and TV

LaLiga and Segunda División face their first weekend in months. The coronavirus pandemic forced to stop the competition that resumed this Wednesday at LaLiga Smartbank with Rayo's victory over Albacete and on Thursday in First with Seville 2-0 against Real Betis. This Friday, these are the matches to follow.

Today's matches Friday, June 12

LaLiga Santander

Granada-Getafe (19:30 H – Movistar LaLiga)

The two teams revealed face to face. Granada and Getafe open the day on Friday in the First Division at 7:30 p.m. in Los Cármenes. Bordalás' men left LaLiga at a surprising moment, classified for Europe, and on the right track to secure the Champions League positions. Ahead, a Granada who lives calm about salvation and looks askance at that seventh place facing the restart. A match at the top.

Valencia-Levante (22:00 H – Movistar LaLiga)

It's time for derbies. If Seville left us this Thursday to start the First Division, the city of Valencia and its derby will be the star game of the day on Friday. The ché are tight to ensure their European classification and have the low of Gabriel Paulista. Those of Paco López, on the other hand, have a historic opportunity: to achieve the first victory of the granotas in Mestalla throughout their lives. Too bad that if they get it, they can't celebrate it with their audience.

First Division Classification

Getafe and Valencia will play European positions this afternoon while Granada live well in the middle of the table and Levante fight to avoid getting into trouble with the descent. Barcelona is the leader, two points behind Real Madrid, followed by Sevilla and Real in Champions League positions. The Europa League is for Getafe and Atlético, who will fight to climb the top. Villarreal, Granada, Athletic, Osasuna, Betis, Levante and Alavés live in the middle of the table. Further down, four from relegation, Valladolid opens this fight followed by Eibar, two and Celta, one from the burning. In decline are Mallorca (25), Leganés (23) and Espanyol (20). Check the classification.

LaLiga Smartbank

Elche-Extremadura (19:30 H – Movistar LaLiga 1)

Rayo Vallecano's victory in the opening game of the new normal should not have pleased anything at Martínez Valero. Those of the Strip approached three points of a playoff that is tight and in which the ilicitanos want to stay. For this it is more than necessary to win at home an Extremadura that lives four points from a complicated salvation. Injuries left the calls running out. In addition to the casualties, Elche has Nino, Iván Sánchez and Jonathas in doubt

Fuenlabrada-Tenerife (19:30 H – Movistar LaLiga 2)

Three months, two days and several phases of de-escalation later, Jose Ramón Sandoval will be able to debut on the bench of Fernando Torres. The Humanes coach arrived and LaLiga stood up leaving his debut in the air. Now, he will have the responsibility of putting Fuenlabrada back in the positions above. Tenerife watches from the false tranquility of the middle of the table but he could get into trouble since he's only four points from relegation to Second B.

Malaga-Huesca (19:30 H – #Let's go)

Málaga continues to be the home of the trouble of the category and, as such, it could not be less on its return. Shinji Okazaki, once forward of the Leicester champion, will debut at La Rosaleda after being signed by the Andalusians but end up at Huesca due to malaguista mismanagement. The Japanese will be the attraction of a match in which Míchel's men will try to seek victory and squeeze Zaragoza and Cádiz, in direct promotion. Malaga, fifteenth, should not be confused if they do not want to live a month that ends with tragedy.

Real Oviedo-Ponferradina (21:45 H – Movistar LaLiga 1)

The Tartiere will be the last stage of silver football this Friday. Those of Ziganda were starting to take off the flight just before the break and today, they will have to start the engine again before a Ponferradina who, recently promoted, is carrying out a more than remarkable campaign ensuring the half of the table at a certain distance from the descent and not so away from the playoff. Berjon will be doubtful in the Asturians and Ríos Reina and Ivi, certain losses in those of El Bierzo.

Second Division Classification

The silver category is one of the tightest in Europe and everything is still open. Cádiz is leader with 56 to a point of Zaragoza. Almería and Huesca appear in the playoff, six of the leaders, in addition to Girona and Elche. Rayo is the other contender to a place with Mirandés and a little further, Sporting and Alcorcón (five). Half of the table almost does not exist with Ponferradina, Tenerife and Fuenlabrada at six and seven of the playoff but at five and four points from relegation. In this fight without quarter, which marks Depor with 35 points, are Las Palmas (38), Málaga (38), Numancia (38), Oviedo (35), Albacete (35), the Coruñes team itself, Lugo (34) , Extremadura (31) and bottom team, Racing, with 28 points. Check the classification of Second.

Other international matches: Juventus and RB Leizpig

Juventus-Milan (21:00 H – DAZN)

Calcio returns to Italy with a high-flying game and an exceptional protagonist, Cristiano Ronaldo. The Portuguese is, as always, the main attraction of a Juventus that plays against Milan as nothing more and nothing less than the Coppa Italia semifinals. Sarri will test his boys against a demanding rival with another former madridista completing a good campaign in their ranks, Theo Hernández.

Hoffenheim-RB Leizpig (20:30 – #Let's go)

RB Leizpig is among the most entertaining teams to see in Europe. Nagelsmann's pupils play with speed and overflow and will try to reach their maximum and achieve victory today against Hoffenheim. The bulls are more than complicated in the Bundesliga, facing the tyrant Bayern, but there is no shortage of incentives to the match. Among them, Timo Werner, who aims to be a future Chelsea gunner and one of the hottest operations on the market.
