Exact three weeks have passed since Girona returned to training individually at La Vinya on May 9 and after overcoming two more phases, that of the groups of 10 and groups of 14, this Monday they will finally be able to train with all of its staff together.
The authorization of the Ministry of Health that became official yesterday in the BOE is the definitive step that will allow the Girona and the rest of the First and Second Division clubs reach the last phase of preparation before returning to the League in two weeks.
After having overcome the different moments that health and the League have been indicating, starting with individual training, then moving on to those of 10 players and those of 14 until today, the teams will enter the last step of the protocol established for the return to competition.
This step forward means that, for the first time in almost three months, the footballers of the Girona They will be able to work together again and that Martí, who already made clear a few days ago his wish for this moment to come, may have the option to resume the most necessary training at this time.
Girona held the last session of the week at La Vinya this Saturday, after training since Monday every day in groups of 14 players. The total training sessions will therefore come after the footballers have been able to disconnect a day before the final stretch arrives. In addition, another novelty that the team will have when they return to work this Monday will be to find out when they will play the first two games after returning to the League, since Javier Tebas will announce tonight at 22:00 both early hours. On matchdays 32 and 33, Girona will face Las Palmas first at the Gran Canaria stadium and then Racing Santander in Montilivi.
