This is the fight for the Champions League and for relegation in the Premier

There are only nine games left for the end of the Premier (although some teams have a pending match) and if something is clear it is that the title will be won by Pep Guardiola's Manchester City, with 14 points more (also one more game) than his eternal Citizen rival, Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's United and 15 more than Brendan Rodgers' Leicester. Barring enormous surprise, City will take over from Liverpool (English champions in 2019-20 for the first time since 1990) and Guardiola will achieve his third Premier since his arrival on the ‘citizen’ bench in 2016.

But from there there are many unknowns. This Premier ends on May 23 and on that last day it is expected that in the large stadiums there may be 10,000 spectators, depending on the evolution of the coronavirus pandemic.

Champions and Europa League places

City (71 points, with one more game), United (57), Leicester (56) and Chelsea, Atlético's rival in the last 16 of the Champions League (51) would go to the Champions League if the Premier ended now. From there, West Ham (48), Everton (46), Tottenham (45) and Liverpool (43, this same Monday they face Wolves) follow, all hoping that those at the top fail and still be able to achieve a place in the next Champions.

The crisis experienced by the 'reds' has led them to be even out of the Europa League place. At this time West Ham is 5th and occupies that position for the aforementioned Euro Tournament. The final stretch of the Premier League holds for them to face 2 of the 'Big Six': on April 3, Jürgen Klopp's team will visit Arsenal and on May 1, Manchester United.

Liverpool has no direct confrontation with Chelsea, which is currently the fourth and last place in the Champions League. Thomas Tuchel's men have to face City at the Etihad Stadium (May 8) and at Stamford Bridge against Arsenal (12 May) and Leicester (15, on the penultimate matchday).

The drop places

Here everything points to the fact that it is a matter of time before the loss of category of Sheffield United (bottom, with 14 points, already with Paul Heckingbottom as interim coach after the departure of Chris Wilder) and West Brom (penultimate, with 18) is consumed. Starting, the third place of descent is between several teams. At the moment it is occupied by Fulham (26). Next, those most in danger are Newcastle (28) and Brighton (29). Next up, Burnley and Southampton, have 33 points.
