She sold the Paquirri farm beset by debts and a poor financial situation, not by a desire to turn the page or socialize in the big city. She lives it resigned, but she lives it badly. They will be some sad days for the tonadillera, who also does not have her children or grandchildren to sing carols, open gifts or delight in her famous Pantoja chicken. This year, their plans are very different: change of scenery and change of company.

Next Tuesday will be Christmas Eve and the performer will be in her new house in La Finca, in Madrid, where she has settled with her brother Agustín. She has also distanced herself from her niece Anabel, in the Canary Islands since she became the mother of her first daughter, Alma, and has moved to Madrid after selling Cantora, the house of a lifetime, to put her accounts in order and pay her debt with Tax authorities.

In the midst of so much grief, Pantoja had focused his energies on his 50th anniversary tour, but medical problems have forced him to cancel some concerts. The next one will be on Thursday, December 26 at the Starlite Festival in Madrid: “We have already started rehearsals.
