Sony Music Netherlands today announces the launch of the Official UEFA EURO 2020 song “We Are The People“ by Martin Garrix, with Bono and The Edge. From the beginning of the creative process, the Dutchman was clear that Bono's voice was perfect.
The collaboration went further when Bond wrote the lyrics and created the melodies for the song and The Edge added the lead guitar riffs, resulting in a perfect blend of the signature sounds of all artists.

Along with the official song, Garrix he also produced the official entry and broadcast music for the tournament. On his 25th birthday, the song is a testament to his impressive march through the ranks of the music industry to date. All tournaments of the UEFA EURO since 1992 they have had an official song thanks to artists such as Nelly Furtado, Simply Red and Enrique Iglesias, who provided the tournament's soundtrack in the past.
The UEFA EURO 2020 tournament will take place across the continent for the first time in the competition's history, with 11 host cities in total. Amsterdam, Baku, Bucharest, Budapest, Copenhagen, Glasgow, London, Munich, Rome, Saint Petersburg and Seville will host the matches this summer, starting at the Olympic Stadium in Rome on June 11, 2021 with the Turkey vs. Italy. The last match will be at Wembley Stadium in London on July 11, 2021.
