Without the company of Queen Letizia, who does not share her enthusiasm for the snow, the monarch has arrived early at the Baqueira Beret station and has waited long lines to access the traces control zone. Also, it has climbed one of the cabins along with other skiers.

For its weekend by the Catalan Pyrenees, the Head of State has selected a set of jacket and gray pants. Of course, he has completed his outfit with a protective helmet, glasses and skis, a product manufactured handmade in the elovenos Alps.

Felipe VI, great passionate about this sport, has visited the formigal, astún, Candanchú or Sierra Nevada stations several times. However, the one that frequents the most is that of Baqueira Beret, since there she made her first descents when she was a child.

The then princes of Asturias organized winter getaways to this station of the Catalan Pyrenees. Over time, the monarch has kept this hobby alive, becoming an experienced skier that, provided that his agenda allows it, enjoys the mountain and snow.
