“Regarding Dani Alves I have no news from the board; the issue is not touched. I have no information regarding that case,” Lillini said.
At 39, Dani Alves has been without a team since his contract with Barça ended on June 30 and, according to the media, the Pumas have sought to hire him. Lillini said that sportingly and humanly he will contribute a lot, if he arrives, although he did not elaborate on the subject, which Argentine striker Juan Ignacio Dinenno did.
“As a teammate, having the greatest winner in football history would be nice. If he comes, I hope he contributes his grain of sand sportingly. We are going to treat him in the best possible way, in case he comes,” said Dinenno.
With two draws in two games, the Pumas appear in 12th place in the Apertura. Next Sunday they will host Necaxa, 11th in the standings.
