The Royal Netherlands Football Federation (KNVB in Dutch) rectified this Thursday and allowed FC Emmen to sponsor their jerseys from an erotic toy store, something he was opposed to at first.
“Emmen and the KNVB reached an interim solution,” the club said in a statement, so the EasyToys logo will be displayed on the team's elastic bands this season. Last week, the federation banned the sponsorship for “being against good taste and decency.”
In the pact reached this Thursday It is stated that the EasyToys logo will not be used on the children's sizes of the team jerseys. The club's president, Ronald Lubbers, defined the compromise as a “pragmatic solution” and said he was “very happy” to fulfill the initial agreement with the erotic toy store.
The first game in which Emmen will wear their new sponsorship will be this Sunday, in a home game against Willem II.
