They close the tap after Cho, Brais and Kubo

After making the largest outlay in its history in a transfer window, La Real is no longer considering making any more investment to strengthen the team, unless there is an unexpected exit that leaves euros in the coffers. This does not mean that the squad is closed, far from it, and at the moment more additions are not ruled out between now and August 31, but the club has already emptied the box, the room for maneuver for transfers has been exhausted. If they decide to continue strengthening themselves, it will be through an assignment, a free transfer -such as that of Rafinha– or one of those operations so in vogue today, such as the one that led to Willian José to Betis or to Portu to Getafe, a loan with a purchase commitment next year.

31 million investment

With the purchase of Take Kubothe third of the summer, Real has made the largest investment in its history in a single transfer window: 31 million euros, divided into the 14 it cost Brais Méndezthe 11 of Momo Cho and the six of Takefusa Kubo. At the moment, the Txuri Urdin club has been the great agitator of the LaLiga football market together with Barcelona in a situation in which sales and total austerity prevail for now, even in clubs called to fight for Champions positions such as Atlético de Madrid or Seville.

The total amount of the investment in contracts is higher than that made three years ago, when the Real was reinforced with Isak (which in the end cost 10.5 million euros), Portu (10), Sagnan (4,5) y Monreal (0,25). Odegaard He arrived at no cost because he came on loan from Real Madrid. That investment was 25.25 million euros, six less than this year.

Considering these amounts, the 16.6 million that in January 2001 were dedicated to signing Kovacevic (6,6), Nihat (5) y Westerveld (5).
