“They called me a shitty ape”

These guys have nothing to do with sport, they should be identified and thrown out of any sporting event.” Those who work with him say that the Senegalese is still emotionally touched. It is not the first time that he has suffered from racism in Italy and it is an issue on which he has already shown his face.

The Prosecutor's Office of the Italian Football Federation opened an investigation into the facts: the authors of the gesture will be sought to prevent them from stepping on a stadium again. De Laurentiis, for his part, spoke with the FIGC president, Gabriele Gravina, asking for more attention on this problem and on the discriminatory chants against Naples, which were also heard yesterday (“Vesuvius, wash them with fire”). The forward 'azzurro' Victor Osimhen also positioned himself in his networks: “Talk to your children, explain to them how disgusting it is to hate someone because of the color of their skin.” Fiorentina yesterday already apologized to Koulibaly, and today published a statement on the facts: “We condemn the racist insults of yesterday, once those responsible have been identified, we will take care of denying them access to the stadium, hoping that these measures will be applied in all stadiums.” La Viola, later, attacked Atalanta for not having acted in the face of the insults towards Vlahovic: “We were surprised that in situations like Atalanta-Fiorentina there was not the same speed and attention on the shame that was happening to our footballer.”
