For months now, rumours have been circulating like wildfire in the newsrooms: Isabel Pantoja She has received several offers to bring her life to television and is considering them all. The format varies between interview, documentary or biopic and also the money she would receive for it. However, out of all the options she has on the table, the singer has already opted for one of them and is negotiating to carry out the project. The person responsible for it is a Spaniard known throughout the world: Antonio Banderas.
According to the magazine Weekseveral conversations and meetings have already taken place between Isabel Pantoja and the protagonist of The Fox. Of course, with the presence of Agustin. Banderas’ offer is not the best financially, but the actor has managed to make the singer feel comfortable with the project and decide to go with his production company, which is very well-versed in both Spain and the American market. The negotiations are well advanced and they say that although Paquirri’s widow has drawn some red lines, she is willing to talk about subjects that have been banned until now, such as her time in Alcalá de Guadaíra prison.
The aforementioned publication speaks of a “macro-project” that would include several different audiovisual products (an interview and a biopic, among others) and although they have not yet agreed on how much Pantoja will charge for the work, it is several million euros which would mean not only settling all her debts and cleaning up her accounts once and for all but also the golden retirement she dreams of. “Antonio Banderas has become Isabel’s savior”they say.
