These are the questions they refused to answer about the Marius scandal

The Norwegian Royal House is about to say goodbye to one of its most complicated years. Vague words for a scandal of such magnitude, since it must be remembered that although Marius does not occupy a position in the line of succession to the throne, he does live in the palatial residence and is escorted by the official guard. “It has been a demanding year and a demanding autumn for us. We are not going to hide it,” they added. “I don’t think we would have been able to endure such a situation without help from the family and at the same time maintain our obligations to the Norwegian people.”

The interview of the princes of Norway was perfectly designed and adapted to their wishes, since they vetoed all questions that had to do with Marius and his legal situation, as the Norwegian press has reported. Neither has the Palace’s communications director, Guri Vaper, who declared a few months ago: “We have answered several of the questions you have asked us previously and we have nothing to add now. This is a case that is being processed by justice and we do not believe it is right to comment on the case or other people’s statements through the media. We trust that the police and justice will handle this appropriately.
