The Premier League transfer market will open on July 27 and close on October 5. This was announced this Wednesday by the Premier League after a meeting between the entities involved in the organization of the league.
“The summer transfer window will open for ten weeks at the end of the current Premier League season, beginning on July 27 and ending on October 5,” the Premier said.
In addition, after consulting with the EFL, which governs the Second, Third and Fourth Division of English football, an additional window will open from October 5 to October 16, in which Premier clubs can only negotiate with teams from the EFL, whether they are transfers or permanent signings.
During this additional week, no transfers can be made between Premier clubs. These decisions are awaiting approval from FIFA.
