These are the 10 jobs that do not require higher education that will grow the most during this decade

Earning a college degree expands your chance of earning a higher income. However, there is a trend in the labor market that requires staff who do not need university qualifications.

In fact, many countries are going through a situation of lack of labor, which will allow certain types of jobs to be promoted within the labor market. In this sense, there are a variety of jobs that do not require higher education in various industries that expected to be in high demand in the next 10 years, according to the US Bureau of Labor Statistics, as stated in the CNBC.

The 10 jobs that will grow the most over the next decade

The vast majority of these jobs do not require higher education. In most cases, companies they will look for staff with secondary studies or, at most, with studies in vocational training:

– Occupational therapy assistants

– Physiotherapist assistants

“It is difficult to find a shared explanation for why these jobs are so popular. There are specific reasons why each one is in demand and will continue to be in demand for the next ten years,” says the head of the Bureau’s Labor Statistics Division, Michael Wolf, to CNBC.

However, considering what type of jobs will be in demand during this decade, a certain trend can be observed. These jobs are driven by increased demand for sustainable energy, an aging population and a growth of interest in personal care after the Covid-19 pandemic.

On the other hand, during this decade most of the baby boomers, a generation made up of a truly representative segment of the population, which will multiply the demand for professionals who care for and serve the elderly.
