“There is hope and we are motivated”

Mateo Kovacicmidfielder of Chelseaanalyzed this Monday the second leg of the quarterfinals of the Champions League against Real Madrid, in which Chelsea starts with a 1-3 disadvantage.

“It wasn’t our best game and the result wasn’t good, but there is hope and we are motivated to give our bestKovacic said at a press conference.

“There are many comebacks that I can draw inspiration from. I remember when we lost 2-0 against Wolfsburg with Real Madrid and then at the Bernabéu we came back 3-0. Chelsea lost 3-1 against Napoli and then came back. Football always gives surprises”added the Croatian midfielder.

On Luka ModricKovacic described him as a childhood idol. “It is difficult to stop him because he is a fantastic player. He I admire because when I was a kid I played for my favorite team, Dinamo Zagreb. Now what we are friendsI admire him even more.”
