The Zodiac CNAB suffers but gets into the Champions League semifinals

MADRID, 31 May. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Zodiac CNAB had to sweat their way to the semifinals of the LEN Champions League, but kept their goal standing by beating JUG Dubrovnik (11-9) this Wednesday, where they will face Novi Beograd, the host of the ‘Final 8’ of the maximum continental competition.

Munarriz, Biel and Pavillard were the best in front of goal. The equality was palpable from the beginning and every goal for the Catalans was answered by the Balkan team, with a 5-5 score at halftime. The Spanish team had its moment after the break, when it went 8-5, and one more blow to fasten the pass to the semifinals.
