MADRID, 18 Jul. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The young Spanish midfielder Pablo Torre will play on loan until June 30, 2024 at Girona FC, after the Girona entity reached an agreement this Tuesday with his club of origin, FC Barcelona.
“The new rojiblanco midfielder, aged 20, began his formative period in grassroots football in Soto de la Marina, his home town in Cantabria. In the 2015/16 season he joined the lower categories of Racing Santander”, Girona recalled on its website.
The 20-year-old Cantabrian footballer signed last year for the Blaugrana team. In its press release, Girona has highlighted the 13 official matches played by Torre with Barça, four of them as a starter, at the rate of one in the League, one in the Copa del Rey and another in the Champions League, even scoring a goal against FC Viktoria Pilsen.
“Also an under-19 international with Spain, he is a footballer who has a very good vision of the game, control of the ball, last pass and a very powerful shot,” Girona concluded in their note. In addition, in its own statement, Barça has defined Torre as “one of the most promising midfielders” in Spanish football.
