The power forward comes to Las Palmas from Basketball Girona
MADRID, 4 Ago. (EUROPA PRESS) –
The Croatian wing-pivot Roko Prkacin became this Friday a new player of Dreamland Gran Canaria for the next season 2023/24, coming from Basketball Girona.
Despite his 20 years, Prkacin already has extensive experience, which began in the lower categories of KK Cibona. The one from Zagreb would reach the first team at just 15 years old after a brief stint at KK Rudes. “From a very young age he showed great qualities, being a promising player in his team and in the lower categories of the Croatian team,” says the ‘Granca’.
In the 2020/21 season, he averaged 13.3 points, 6.8 rebounds and 4.9 assists in the AdmiralBet ABA League, being his best campaign at the individual level. Last year he signed for Bàsquet Girona and the power forward managed to adapt to the Endesa League and became an important piece in the Catalan team.
“Youth, talent and forcefulness in equal parts, a promising player who will continue his career in Spain with Dreamland Gran Canaria”, ends the yellow statement.
