Dmytriv, probably one of the great values for the nearest future of national adapted swimming, was without a doubt the great protagonist when he got on his first great international podium, accompanying a ‘veteran’ Sarai Gascón who showed that she is still in the first level .

The swimmer from Terrassa, who, like Dmytriv, excelled when she was still a child, finished in second place in the 200-meter medley in the SM9 class where she was only surpassed by the Hungarian Zsofia Konkoly (2:34.21), who surpassed her in more than half a second. Dmytriv knew how to come back to finish third although far from her two rivals (2: 38.59).

In addition, the double Paralympic runner-up in Tokyo 2020 Toni Ponce was in charge of opening the Spanish medal table on this second day with a silver in the 50 back S5. The Catalan (37.82) could not beat the Brazilian Samuel Da Silva (36.58), but pressed at the end to beat the Japanese Kaede Hinata.

The fourth and last medal of this day went to Íñigo Llopis in the 100 back S8 test. The Gipuzkoan (1:07.92) could not compete for the gold against the American Robert Griswold (1:03.82), who took the gold, while the Valencian Sergio Martoz (1:11.71) unsuccessfully fought for the bronze against the Argentine Pipo Charlemagne.

Also, in the 200 S9 IMs, Jacobo Garrido and Óscar Salguero qualified for the final, but finished fourth and seventh respectively; Borja Sanz was fourth in the 100 butterfly S12, Marian Polo, sixth in the 100 breaststroke S13, Iván Salguero, seventh in the 100 breaststroke S13, and José Ramón Cantero and Ariadan Galache, eighth in the 100 butterfly S11 and the 100 backstroke S14, respectively. .
