The Women’s Tour by Carrefour.es will start from the Costa Blanca and will be presented on February 28

MADRID, 16 Feb. (EUROPA PRESS) –

The first edition of La Vuelta Femenina by Carrefour.es will start from the Costa Blanca, as confirmed on Thursday by Unipublic, organizer of the round that will present its route on February 28 in that eastern area.

The next edition of the race will have several modifications compared to the previous ones, since the change of name (previously known as the Ceratizit Challenge by La Vuelta), is added to its expansion from five to seven stages and a new situation on the calendar, in the month of May (1-7). Dutch cyclist Annemiek van Vleuten (Movistar Team) was proclaimed winner in 2021 and 2022.
