The Venezuelan Rondón puts Everton in the quarterfinals of the FA Cup

MADRID, 3 Mar. (EUROPA PRESS) –

Venezuelan striker José Sebastián Rondón put Everton in the FA Cup quarterfinals after achieving a double in the win against Boreham Wood, a team from the fifth division of English football, in the only cup match in England played this Thursday .

Everton -which flirts with relegation in the Premier League- had no problem sealing the ticket with the two goals from the ‘red wine’ player, in 57′ and 84′. The ‘toffees’ will face Crystal Palace in the next round according to Thursday’s draw.

In addition, Liverpool will face the winner of Nottingham Forest Huddersfield Town; while Manchester City will face Southampton away from home; and Middlesbrough will do the same with Chelsea away from Stamford Bridge.
