The Valencia of José Bordalas progresses adequately

Second stoppage of the season due to the calls for national teams and LaLiga teams are gradually positioning themselves in the battles that they will fight throughout the competition. Have been only eight days and in them Valencia has experienced a flood of emotions: From an overwhelming start to two consecutive draws, going through a threat of crisis after being defeated by Madrid and Seville. After all this, a conclusion can be drawn: Valencia is progressing adequately.

With 12 points in eight games, those from Bordalás walk eighth in the standings and have their main rivals within reach for the positions of the noble zone: Add the same points as the Betis, one more than him Villarreal (with one game less), one less than the Athletic, three less than him Seville and five less than the Real society, which has had one of the best starts in its history.

Also, taking a look at the past those from Bordalás add four points more than last year at this point, exactly the same as in the 2019/2020 campaign and three more than in 2018/2019. To this is added that the 'che' already have played against two 'top 4' teams of the table as they are Seville and Real Madrid, something that the past season at this point had not done.

But that's the data, on the path of 'sensations' the path also seems to be the right one. Bordalás has managed to print its stamp and, despite defeats or draws, the team seems to be clear about what they are playing. Without going any further, and to justify those sensations again with data, the che they have put the plug in the goal, one of the great priorities that Bordalás set upon his arrival: 8 goals have conceded, 5 less than last year at this point.

In addition, aggressiveness has recovered since those of the Turia are the second team with the most fouls made in this league. In the coaching staff they are clear that this has just begun and despite the fact that the seal is already patent, the team still has to grow and assimilate many more concepts. As Bordalás says “this has just begun”, but in that beginning Valencia progresses adequately.
