The truth about Shakira and Piqué’s family home: he took ownership in September

The spectacular Esplugues de Llobregat mansion that Shakira y Pique in which they have been happy with their children has been one of the great unknowns after communicating the agreement between the exes. It is the only property they share and several theories have been published regarding its fate, although the most powerful of all was the one that pointed to the sale to create a fund and cover the expenses of the children and the trips to Miami. However, this possibility has been ruled out after the latest information: Shakira is no longer the owner of the house.

According to the Property Registry of Esplugues de Llobregat, the house was acquired by Gerard Piqué and Shakira on May 25, 2012, but on September 13, 2022 the ownership of it was changed. This is demonstrated in the Simple Informative Note of Title and Charge of the house, advanced by the paparazo Jordi Martin, where it is stated that the owner of the same is, for a month and a half, Inversiones BCN Two & Two S.L. It is one of Gerard Piqué’s companies, of which he owns 50% of the shares and whose Sole Administrator is his father, Joan Piqué Rovira.

It is not surprising considering that Shakira and Piqué decided to share their gigantic home with his parents, Joan and Montserrat, for whom they reserved and remodeled a part that connects with the central house through the fabulous garden with a swimming pool. Letting the Colombian decide the future of the property was not an option for Piqué, who wanted to protect his parents and avoid problems. Now, at least, putting it on the market or not will be a decision that they will make exclusively.

The house, of 380 square meters, is located in the Ciudad Diagonal neighborhood, and has three connected buildings: the central one, for Piqué and Shakira, and two adjoining ones, for their respective parents, all connected by the garden, with a fabulous swimming pool . It has a spectacular gym, as well as a tennis court and a music studio. Its market value would reach 10 million euros.
