The Texas Rangers were proclaimed this Wednesday for the first time in their 62-year history as champions of the World Series of the Major League Baseball (MLB) of the United States by beating the Arizona Diamondbacks 5-0 and making the final 4-1 in the series.
The American League champion Texan franchise won the first game at home in Arlington, and its rival, which dominated the National League, responded in the next game before the series moved to Arizona for the next three games. all of them dominated by the Rangers.
