The Texans get a “A-” for Week 9 thanks to C.J. Stroud, and the Bengals get a “B+” for beating the Bills on Sunday night.

That would be the Buccaneers-Texans game if you want to know what the most exciting game of the week was.

The last six seconds of the game were the craziest of the season, as C.J. Stroud threw a touchdown pass alongside just six minutes left to secure the win for Houston over Tampa Bay 39–37.

That was an amazing game on Sunday. With six seconds left, the rookie threw a score to Tank Dell in 15 yards out, giving the Texans a 39-37 win across the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

With 8:45 left, Dare Ogunbowale made a 29-yard kick to give the Texans a 33–30 lead.

It’s important to note that Ogunbowale, a rookie running back, had to kick as the Texans’ kicker got hurt.

Then, Baker Mayfield led Tampa Bay in a 10-play drive that ended with a touchdown pass with Cade Otton.

The Bengals are now 5-3 overall and have won four games in a row. They are still tied for second place among the teams in the AFC North.

After the two-minute warning, Joe Mixon won the game by running past future Hall of Famer Von Miller upon third and fourth down and getting the first down that won the game. The Bengals were able to stop the game.

To start the game, the Bengals raced down the field and Irv Smith Jr. caught a touchdown pass from seven yards out, putting them ahead 7-0. Josh Allen scored a touchdown run for Buffalo from two yards out to tie the match at 7-7.

After an 11-play, 69-yard drive, Joe Mixon scored on a two-yard run to give the team the lead again, 14–7, at the end of the first quarter.

In the second quarter, the Bengals’ defense got stronger. Cameron Taylor-Britt picked off Allen, and B.J. Hill hit Allen, which made the Bills punt.

The ball was given back to Cincinnati at the 45-yard line with four minutes left in the first half.

They made it through the two-minute warning with an 11-yard catch by Ja’Marr Chase on fourth down.

After three plays, Burrow hit Drew Sample with a 22-yard touchdown catch, putting the home team ahead 21–7 at halftime.

The No. 2 selection pick tore through the Buccaneers defense during his eighth career start. He set a rookie record with 470 passing yards and tied a record for most touchdowns in a game with five. The performance included a game-winning drive that stole a 39–37 win over Tampa Bay.

Head coach DeMeco Ryans said, “That was a brave performance from him.” “He cleaned it up, but it wasn’t all clean.” He played hard in the pocket, making some plays, and threw some big balls for us.

He could count on the targets. They caught those things. They caught tough balls and made significant runs for us. That means those guys are working together. It was a very brave act by him, C.J.

Just to make things even better, the Texans had a running back kick the ball in the second period of play.

Because Ka’imi Fairbairn got hurt, the Texans had to call on Dare Ogunbowale. In the fourth quarter, he made a crucial 29-yard field goal.

Stroud completed 30 out of 42 passes. He connected with Noah Brown on six occasions for 153 yards, such as a score from 75 yards out.

Dell ended with six catches for 114 yards and two touchdowns, and Dalton Schultz had 10 catches over 130 yards as well as a touchdown.

With 8:45 left, backup quarterback Dare Ogunbowale made a 29-yard field goal that broke the tie and gave the Texans a 33–30 lead.

Ka’imi Fairbairn was taken out of the game at halfway with a quad injury, and Ogunbowale came on in his place.

Buffalo (5-4) had a chance to come back when Josh Allen connected with Stefon Diggs for a 17-yard td and the two-point conversion that followed. With 3:32 left in the game, the Bills were down six points.

But the Bengals (5-3) got their possession back and made the Bills use their third and final timeout. With 1:53 left, Joe Mixon ran for a first down to seal the win.

Mixon ran the ball 14 times for 37 yards and a touchdown, and Tee Higgins caught eight passes for 110 yards and was Burrow’s top target.
