The Tennis Federation renews its agreement with Eurosport for the Challenger and ITF WTT tournaments

Eurosport and the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation (RFET) have agreed to renew their alliance for the exclusive broadcast of the best Challenger and ITF WTT tournaments (minimum fourteen) during 2022. All of them can be seen live and on demand through the channels and payment channel platforms.

Discovery thus expands the Eurosport tennis offer that includes exclusive broadcast rights to the Australian Open, Roland-Garros and US Openin addition to other competitions such as the WTA in Linz, the ATP in Brisbane, the ATP in Sydney or the WTA in Nottingham.

Antonio Ruiz, senior vice president and general director of Discovery Iberia and France, and Miguel Díaz Román, president of the RFET, have sealed the alliance in an act.

“Eurosport’s commitment to the best Spanish grassroots tennis reinforces its commitment to offering the best racket competitions in the world. In these types of tournaments, the future stars of this sport are forged who will fight for the great international titles, that is why it is important to give visibility and support through television”, Ruiz explained.

”The RFET is firmly committed to promoting tennis with the collaboration of Eurosport. The future legends of Spanish tennis emerge from these types of tournaments and we want to continue promoting the new generations,” added Díaz.

The Federation and Eurosport will soon announce the rest of the tournaments that are also part of the agreement, as well as the official names of each of them.

ITF WTT Tournament in Valencia (from September 23 to 25).

Torneo ITF WTT in Barcelona (from October 28 to 30).
