The Swiss Sandro Schärer will be in charge of refereeing this Tuesday the match of the first day of the group stage between Celtic and Real Madrid at Celtic Park (9:00 p.m.), while the Italian Davide Massa will do the same in the duel of the same day between Sevilla and Manchester City at the Ramón Sánchez-Pizjuán (9:00 p.m.).
The 34-year-old Swiss pigtail will take charge of a Whites’ match in the competition for the first time in Glasgow.
For his part, Massa, 41, already gave justice to the Nervionenses in a match of the group stage of the ‘Champions’ against Chelsea at Stamford Bridge (0-0) in the 2020-21 season.
