The president refused to give details about the composition of the new Superligabut said it would not replace the current one African Champions League. Even so, all the details will be known on August 10, since there will be an official launch at the Congress of the CAF de Arusha (Tanzania).

An idea that, unlike what happened in Europe last year, has not raised controversy in Africa.
On the other hand, the president of the CAFalso announced a change in the dates of the next African Cup of Nations in Ivory Coast. The competition was initially scheduled for June 2023 and will finally be played in January 2024. “We don’t want to run the risk of having a competition under a deluge.
