The State of Alarm will not prevent Madrid clubs from playing

The Council of Ministers has decreed this Friday the State of Partial Alarm in Madrid to reestablish restrictions on mobility in the Community after these measures were rejected days ago by the Superior Court of Justice of Madrid (TSJM). In the midst of the chaos generated by the different and contradictory solutions provided by the Autonomous Government of Ayuso and the central Pedro Sánchez, many doubts have been raised about what will happen in professional sports in the next 15 days in which the current situation will last ( As minimum). For now the professional categories will continue their course since the restrictive measures that imply the perimeter confinement of the capital and of nine other large municipalities will not change competitions such as the First and Second divisions or the ACB. All will be governed by their own sanitary protocols already approved.

Therefore, and focusing on football, this coming weekend Fuenlabrada (receives Castellón), Leganés (is measured at home to Girona), Rayo (goes to Tenerife) and Alcorcón (visits Espanyol) they will be able to play their matches without any problem. In First there is no competition for the international break, but The National Team will play in Valdebebas against Switzerland as planned. Next week, in which the State of Alarm will remain in force and in which the Government would need the approval of Congress to extend it, Madrid's Primera teams will play their matches as before, following the protocol established by LaLiga and approved by the Higher Sports Council. On Saturday 17, Getafe host Barça at the Coliseum while Madrid plays in Valdebebas against Cádiz and Atlético will travel to Vigo. In the Second Division, Fuenlabrada travels to Cartagena, Rayo receives Espanyol, Leganés will play against Logroñés at home and Alcorcón against Ponferradina at home.

Another thing is non-professional competitions. There, and never better said, the joy goes through the neighborhoods. In Madrid, several calendars have already been published in some categories but, given the current situation in the Community, it seems unlikely that many will be able to comply.
