The elite Spanish track cycling team will meet from October 1 to 7 at the Velòdrom Illes Balears in Palma, where the Spanish adapted track cycling team will also travel later, to prepare for the next World Championship in Saint-Quentin-en -Yvelines (France).
After having concentrated in Valencia from September 19 to 26, the elite Spanish team will face a final preparatory concentration from October 1 to 7 in Mallorca, from where they will travel to Paris.
The national coach, Félix García Casas, will count for this last concentration prior to the World Cup with the sprinters Alejandro Martínez, Pepe Moreno and Ekain Jiménez, in addition to Helena Casas. Among the long-distance runners will be Sebastián Mora, Erik Martorell, Jaime Romero, Joan Martí Bennassar, Alberto Pérez, Eukene Larrarte, Tania Calvo, Ziortza Isasi, Laura Rodríguez and Isabella Escalera.
For its part, the adapted track cycling team, which is holding its first concentration this week in Valencia, will be in Palma from October 3 to 11, combining activity with the elite team for a few days.
The French Saint-Quentin-en-Yvelines velodrome will host the elite Track Cycling World Championships from October 12-16, and the Para-Cycling Track World Championships from October 20-23.
