The Picasso Museum in Malaga will be the setting this Thursday, starting at 7:00 p.m., for the presentation of the official uniform that the Spanish Paralympic Team will wear during the Paris 2024 Games and which has been designed and manufactured by the firm ‘John Smith ‘.
According to the Spanish Paralympic Committee (CPE), the event will have exceptional models who will wear the different parade, training, awards and walk garments. Thus, those in charge of showing the new equipment designed by ‘Aguirre y Cía’ will be the athletes Adiaratou Iglesias, Gerard Descarrega, Guillermo Rojo, Sara Andrés and Deliber Rodríguez; swimmers Marta Fernández and Anastasiya Dmytriv; wheelchair basketball players Sonia Ruiz and Ignacio Ortega; the cyclist Sergio Garrote, the judoka Marta Arce, the canoeist Higinio Rivero and the triathlete Nil Riudavets.
In addition, the Malaga actor Salva Reina and the Paralympic athlete Desirée Vila will be in charge of leading the event, which will feature the participation of the presidents of the Junta de Andalucía, Juan Manuel Moreno Bonilla; from the Higher Sports Council, José Manuel Rodríguez Uribes, and from the Spanish Paralympic Committee, Miguel Carballeda, as well as with the general director of ‘Aguirre y Cía’, Alfredo Peñalver.
The urban artist ‘Okuda’, who wanted to redesign one of his works for uniformity, and the singer Paula Koops, who will perform ‘Win twice’, the team’s official song for Paris 2024, will also participate.
