The Spanish midfielder Fabián Ruiz has become this Tuesday a new player for Paris Saint-Germain, according to the agreement reached with Napoli, his home club, which will lead him to wear the Parisian shirt until June 30, 2027, reported the French entity.
“Paris Saint-Germain is pleased to announce the signing of Fabián Ruiz for the next five seasons. The Spanish international midfielder is linked to the Parisian club until June 30, 2027,” PSG said one day before the market closes. .
The Sevillian player, a native of Los Palacios and Villafranca, trained at Real Betis, where he played his first league games in 2015. Later he was loaned to Elche and in the summer of 2018, after a year back at the Trece club Barras, was signed by Napoli.
In four seasons at the Italian club, Fabián Ruiz has played a total of 166 games, scoring 22 goals and dishing out 15 assists. In addition, the Spanish absolute international was proclaimed Italian Cup champion with Napoli in 2020.
He is the fifth Spanish player in the Paris Saint-Germain squad, which already has Sergio Rico, Sergio Ramos, Juan Bernat and Pablo Sarabia among its ranks.
