The Spanish BMX Racing team returned to training this Thursday at the Anadia High Performance Center (Portugal), with 13 athletes who will be preparing until next Sunday on a circuit with a Supercross ramp and dimensions similar to those of the routes that host the World Cup or the World Cup.
After an intense start to the season, with a week of work also in Anadia and trips to New Zealand and Australia to compete in the first two events of the 2024 World Cup, the Spanish team, led by national coach Alejandro Alcojor, returns to the action with a concentration in which they will evaluate a large number of riders.
There will be 13 athletes participating in this meeting: Lara Palacio; Paula Fernandez; Yago Sánchez; Larissa Cabral Carla Gomez; Adriana Dominguez; Alejandro Verdú; Carlos Ordóñez; Martin Cerezo; Rodrigo Morales; Alejandro García; Mariona Calvis and Miquel Hernández.
Throughout this week, the technical team of the Royal Spanish Cycling Federation will evaluate the fitness of the summoned riders and will carry out various tests to know their level before beginning preparation for the World Championship, which will be in Rockhill (United States) from May 12 to 20, and the European Championship, which will be held from May 28 to June 2 in Verona (Italy).
