The Spanish baseball team failed to qualify for the second World Championship in its history, after losing its last two games of the qualifying tournament for the 2023 event held against Great Britain and the Czech Republic.
Spain, who only have World Cup participation to their credit in 2013, had their second ticket well on track after a good performance and needed to beat the British. If he failed, he had one more ‘bullet’ left against the Czechs.
Against Great Britain, the national team came to dominate by a clear 8-3, but their rival came from behind until they tied at nine and forced the extra inning where they won 10-9.
