The Ruta del Sol Vuelta a Andalucía 22 returns to February and with a lot of mountains

The Ruta del Sol Vuelta a Andalucía 22 returns to its usual place in the calendar, in the month of February (from 16 to 20) and not in May as in 2021, and will have a demanding, mountainous route with long stages seeking to establish itself. among the best races in the country.

On Friday, with a route of 152.6 kilometers, the third stage of this Ruta del Sol will go from Lucena (Córdoba) to Otura (Granada) in a day that is expected to be fast, designed for sprinters or the strongest rollers that can get into a leak.

The fourth stage, on Saturday 19, will begin in Cúllar Vega (Granada) and will end in the Granada town of Baza after 165.6 kilometers. It will have two ports of 1st in El Purche and Blancares and one of 2nd (Gorafe) with just over 40 kilometers to go.

The final stage will be in the middle of the Sierra de Segura and the final winner of the 68th edition of the Vuelta a Andalucía should be decided there. It will be a little more than 167 kilometers that the endeavors of the Ruta del Sol will have to undertake in a day of constant ups and downs.
